Information VAPL Gathers

VAPL Receives Two Types of Information About Users:

  1. Users voluntarily submit information to become a member or register for an event.

  2. Information VAPL gathers through aggregated tracking information is derived mainly by tallying page views throughout our site. This information allows us to better tailor our content to users’ needs.

How VAPL Gathers User Information

User-Submitted Forms
You submit information needed for processing Registration or Membership Forms on our site.

Overall Usage Statistics
VAPL does break down overall usage statistics according to a user's domain name, browser type, and MIME type.

Children
Consistent with the Federal Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA), we will never knowingly request personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13 without requesting parental consent.

Cookies
VAPL does not use "cookies". Cookies are text files placed in the browser files of your computer.

Use of Information
VAPL uses any information voluntarily given by our users only in the completion of transactions initiated by the user.

Sharing of the Information
